The “CNDH” of Mali posts on Facebook the delivery of the certificate of acknowledgement by the SlaFMig coordinators (July 2021)

The coordinators of the Research Action Programme “Slavery and Forced Migration in Kayes” award a certificate of recognition to the CNDH (National Commission for Human Rights in Mali). The coordinators of the Action-Research Programme “Slavery and Forced Migration in Kayes” from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, the Laboratoire d’Etudes et de Recherches en Droit, Decentralisation and Local Development (LERDDL) of the Faculty of Public Law and participants awarded a certificate of recognition to the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) for its exceptional support for the success of the training workshop for administrative and judicial authorities held from 28 June to 03 July 2021 at the Faculty of Public Law of the University of Legal and Political Sciences of Bamako (USJPB). The certificate was handed over to the President of the CNDH, Mr Aguibou BOUARE, on Wednesday 07 July 2021 at the CNDH. The President of the CNDH, on receiving the certificate, thanked the coordinators of the Research Action Programme on Slavery and Forced Migration in Kayes for this honour, and dedicated this recognition to all the Commissioners and staff of the CNDH, as well as to the human rights defenders of Mali, specifically those who fight on a daily basis against descent-based slavery and related practices.
